How the day runs
From first enquiry to the final bow.
The Plan
Book Mr Dan. He plans a brilliant circus skills experience matching your chosen timetable.
Set up
All the circus equipment arrives with Mr Dan such as juggling balls, spinning plates, stilts, diabolo, flower sticks, hula hoops, balancing boards and pedal wheels. All staff are welcome to join in the fun.
The Lesson
Mr Dan will demonstrate all of the simple circus skills and then it is the children’s turn to try!
One tutor, many groups. Always age-appropriate.
Primary schools
KS1 and KS2 favourites. One class at a time in a large dry space such as the school hall or school field.
Nurseries
Short, colourful sessions with partner work, funny demonstrations and plenty of encouragement.
Scouts & Guides
Cubs, Beavers, Brownies and Rainbows — including circus badge work.
Community & SEND
Inclusive, non-competitive activity for families, disability groups and adult SEND teams.

Mobile Circus Skills Workshops
Based in Sprotbrough, Doncaster, Mr Dan brings a mobile circus skills workshop to school halls, community centres and village halls. Travel is included across Yorkshire, and other counties are welcome.

Mr Dan — Dan Endicott, PGCE & BA (Hons) Theatre
A children’s entertainer and circus tutor who has taught thousands of people in Yorkshire since 2000, starting with Sheffield Youth Circus. He plans the session with you, explains skills clearly, and keeps the day safe and cheerful.

What space do you need?
A school hall is ideal. Mr Dan brings the kit and matches the skills to the age group and the space you have.
How many children at once?
One class at a time works best. For camps or a whole year group, extra circus tutors can be arranged.
Do you bring everything?
Yes, kit for juggling, spinning plates, stilts, diabolo, flower sticks, pedal wheels and balancing boards.
Is it safe and inclusive?
Sessions are non-competitive, DBS checked, insured, and adapted for age and ability — including SEND groups.
How much does a circus skills workshop cost?
A 1 hour workshop is £149, 2 hours is £199, and a full school day is £299. Travel across Yorkshire from Doncaster is included. Discounts are available for small schools and charities.
Which parts of Yorkshire do you cover?
Mr Dan is based in Sprotbrough, Doncaster and travels to Sheffield, Leeds, York, Bradford, Harrogate, Rotherham, Barnsley, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Hull and beyond. Other counties are welcome.
What ages can join in?
Sessions are planned for nurseries, KS1, KS2, Scouts and Guides, SEND groups, families and adults. Skills are matched to the age and space you have.
